Set up payments on Online Ordering

I. Purpose

This feature allows restaurants to manage how customers pay for their orders on the Online Ordering website.

II. Instruction steps

1. Tax & Fee Configuration

By default, all Tax & Fee settings are automatically synchronized from your System Settings. You do not need to re-configure them unless you want your online rates to differ from your in-store rates.

2. Configure Payment Methods

The available options depend on whether you have integrated Authorize.net (a payment gateway for credit cards).

Scenario A: If online payment is NOT configured

If you have not yet set up a credit card gateway, you have the following options:

• Pay on Pickup/Delivery: Customers will pay for their orders in person when they arrive to pick up or receive their food.
• To enable Credit Card payments:
  1. Navigate to the Payment Gateway Settings section.
  2. Click here.
  3. The system will redirect you to the applications section.

Scenario B: If online payment is configured

Once online payment is successfully connected, the system will display two options:

1. Pay on Pickup/Delivery
2. Credit Card

Important Rules:

• Single Selection Only: You can only choose ONE of these two methods to apply to your online store.
• Credit Card Details: If you select Credit Card, the system will automatically use the card types configured in your payment settings. These cannot be modified within the Online Ordering settings.
