I. PURPOSE
The managers can add new food and beverage items to the menu.
II. INSTRUCTION STEPS
1. Add item
Go to Menu and click the arrow icon in the Add item section to select the item type.
Enter the item information:
- Item name
- Selling price. Check Adjust price if applicable.
- Barcode: you can enter the existing bar codes or select to auto-generate barcode.
- Unit: select a unit. If it is not available in the system, click plus button to add a new one.
- Category: select a category. If it is not available in the system, click plus button to add a new one.
- Tax rate: click the arrow button and select a tax rate.
- Processed at: select a kitchen or bar.
- Description: Enter your own description or click Generate description to create a new one.
2. Track inventory
To track item quantity, scroll down to Inventory and turn it on.
Click Update stock and enter the available inventory. Then, click Save.
Check Stop selling when out of stock if applicable.
Then, click Save to apply.
