Set up Kiosk

I. PURPOSE

Provide step-by-step instructions for installing the software to use Kiosk for restaurants using the Quick Service model.

II. DEVICE REQUIREMENTS

• Processor: Inter(R) Core(TM) i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70GHz 2.40 GHz or higher
• Installed RAM: 2GB RAM – 16GB ROM
• System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
• Hard disk drive: 120GB/ SSD SATA build in (Optional 1TB)
• Resolution: Various screen sizes, Full HD 1920 × 1080 pixels, multi-point capacitive touch
• Operating system: Windows
• Printer: 80mm thermal printer with auto paper cutter

III. INSTRUCTION STEPS

Step 1: Install the Kiosk

After verifying that the Kiosk device meets the required specifications and has sufficient free storage, close all antivirus programs and proceed with the installation as follows:

1. Open the folder containing the downloaded installation package.
2. Double-click the installation file.

3. Click Next.

4. Select the Kiosk installation version. Then click Next.

5. Select Automatically close and attempt to restart applications.

6. Click OK.

7. Click Install.

8. Check Run MISA CUKCUK US.

9. Click Finish.

Step 2: Set up the IP address

1. Click the iconto find the current IP address of the device. (Applies to first-time installation only.)

Then, click Next.

Note: If the IP address has not been registered for Kiosk use, the system will display a notification as shown in the image below.

2. Enter the passcode.

Notes:

• If the password does not exist in Utilities/Staff, the screen will display: “Kiosk settings is for restaurant staff only. If you are a guest, please return to order.”

• If the password exists in Utilities/Staff but has not been granted View/Edit permission, the screen will display: “You are not authorized to access this section. Please contact the owner for support.

Step 3: Set Up Printer & Print Template and Terminal Payment

Note: To configure the printer and terminal payment, your account must be granted the appropriate permissions on the management page under Sales roles/Payment and Sales roles/Settings/Printer.

I. To set up the printer and print template:

1. Select Printer & Template.

2. Select the printer deployed for the restaurant.

3. Click the icon to customize the print template.

4. Select the paper size, and configure the format and layout of the printed invoice.

5. Customize the invoice content:

• Set up general information (Restaurant name, Logo, Address, etc.)
• Check the information you want to display on the print template.

Then click Save to save the invoice template.

6. Click Refresh to review the changes.

To set up the printer for the kitchen/bar, follow the same steps above.

Note: The kitchen/bar printer setup section will only appear if the kitchen/bar has been configured to use a printer (under Utilities\Kitchen/Bar).

II. To set up the payment terminal:

1. Select Payment Terminal.

2. Check Pax terminal configuration.

3. On the Pax device, retrieve the IP Address and Port information, then enter them in the corresponding fields.

Then click Connect.

4. Click Test to test the payment system.

5. Enter the test amount. Then click Pay.
