Set up point earning and redeeming programs

I. Purpose

The Loyalty module lets you:

• Define how guests earn points and redeem rewards
• Run point-only redemption for existing members or a full earn-and-redeem program
• Encourage repeat visits and boost customer retention

II. Instruction steps

1. Install Loyalty Program app.

• On the dashboard, go to Applications.
• On Marketing tab, locate Loyalty Program app and click Install.
• Next, click Install.

2. Choose an Earning / Redemption Mode

Turn on Activate loyalty program: You want guests to both earn and redeem points.

3. Configure Point Earning

1. In the Earn points block, click the icon
2. Enter how much a guest must spend to earn 1 point (e.g., $1 = 1 pt).
3. Click Save.

4. Configure Redemption Methods

Click Select redemption method.

Tick the options you need, then Accept.

4.1 Redeem Discount

1. In Redeem points, click the Edit icon.
2. Enter:
   • Points per $1 discount (e.g., 100 pts = $1).
   • Minimum bill amount required to apply points.
3. Click Save.

4.2 Redeem Gifts

1. In Redeem points, click Add promotion → choose a promotion type (e.g., Free item).
2. Fill in the form:
   • Promotion name
   • Apply for (All guests / VIP only, etc.)
   • Redeem points (points cost)
   • Promo code type (Auto-generate or Fixed code)
   • Number of codes
   • Quantity of free items
   • Apply for (Specific items or Item categories)
   • Active dates / Apply on days
   • Limitations (bill amount, redemption frequency)
3. Click Save.
4. Repeat to add more gift promotions.
5. To edit a promotion later,
   • Click View details
   • Click the edit icon.

5. Add Bonus Point Campaigns

a. Day & time bonus: Earn points by day and time

Enable → Click the Edit icon Bật

Set Bonus rate.

Choose days & time slots → Save

b. Holiday Bonus: Earn Points on Holidays

Enable Holiday bonus and click the Edit icon to configure.
The system includes four default holidays. Managers can adjust the valid dates and bonus rate for each one.
If a holiday does not apply, simply switch it off.

Click Add holiday bonus to create a custom holiday. Enter the holiday name, set the active dates, and choose the bonus rate. Custom holidays can be disabled or deleted at any time. Click Save to store your changes.

c. Birthday Bonus: Earn Points for Birthdays

Enable Birthday bonus and click the Edit icon.
Select a Bonus rate and choose when points are awarded:

• Only on the birthday
• Within the birthday month
• Within 3 days of the birthday
• Within 7 days of the birthday

Click Save to apply the settings.

d. Online Ordering Bonus:

Enable Online ordering bonus and click the Edit icon.
Choose a Bonus rate, then click Save.

Note:

• At checkout, the system applies only the highest-value promotion.
• You can change the redemption method anytime in the Settings tab.
  • Click the Edit icon.
  • Choose a new method, and click Accept to save.

6. Download the Loyalty Lookup QR Code

Go to Promote Loyalty and click Download QR Code. Print and display the code in your restaurant so customers can check their points.

7. Set Redemption Alerts

In Settings, enable Loyalty Program Alerts if you want to be notified when a customer redeems points more than three times in one day.

8. Collect Customer Feedback

In Settings, turn on Customer feedback to gather guest opinions after they redeem points.
